The Legal Driving Hours for HGV Drivers

Daily Driving Limit.

The daily maximum driving limit is 9 hours. A driver may extend to 10 hours but only twice for every week. Weekly maximum driving ours is 56 and 90 hours for 2 weeks. The daily driving limit applies to time spent at the wheel actually driving on a public road. Off-road driving counts as duty time.
